WHAT IS ANTIDISMAL?
Antidismal is a youth-led, culture-forward creative business based in Meanjin (Brisbane), originally founded in 2022 as a DIY events promotion company. What began as a response to the lack of accessible, all-ages music spaces quickly evolved into a vital hub for emerging creatives across music, visual arts, and digital storytelling.
Now operating as an independent record label in partnership with Gyrostream and DistroDirect, Antidismal offers tailored distribution, social strategy, live show execution, and full-service release campaigns—amplifying the next wave of Australian talent.
Rooted in community and driven by the belief that raw, unfiltered spaces spark real innovation, Antidismal is expanding into the educational space with a new initiative: Sound Riot. Designed as a bridge between culture and industry, Sound Riot empowers young artists with the tools, mentorship, and industry insights they need to navigate and reshape the music world on their own terms.
